**Dieting Is a Scam, We Should Stick to Our Roots**
After the 2000s, the Indian market was influenced by foreign companies which slowly evolved people in terms of eating habits. Atta was replaced by Maida, Ghee was replaced by refined oil, Our desi desserts like halwa was replaced by cakes and bakery, shikanji was replaced by coca cola and what else we can name of. People were highly influenced by ads as new marketing ways of companies were introduced to the market. But let's have a little flashback, diseases like diabetes and high BP were comparatively less in the country in the late 90s. This whole evolution made us dependent on multinational companies to even feed our 1 year old infant whereas we are from a country where our mothers and grandmothers used to spend whole days grinding and cooking to make the best nutritional value food.
Look, me the founder is from Haryana, I still have people around me sticking to the ancient practices which are not much technology biased and honestly they are fitter and stronger. They work all day in farms without a protein shake and have a calm life. This whole evolution has polluted our minds in such a way that we find fault in them.
A modern way to sell shitty processed products and distract people from their own homemade ayurveda remedies to earn wealthy profits was a biggest scam.
In today’s world, everyone is looking for quick fixes to lose weight or stay fit. Diet trends like keto, low-carb, or juice cleanses are everywhere. But the truth is, most of these diets are just temporary and often unhealthy. They promise fast results but rarely offer long-term benefits. Many people end up gaining weight back or even harming their health.
Instead of falling for these modern diet scams, we should look back at our roots. Our traditional foods, which our grandparents ate, were balanced and nutritious. Indian meals like dal, roti, rice, vegetables, and homemade pickles are full of fiber, protein, and essential nutrients. These foods kept generations healthy without fancy diet plans.
Eating seasonal fruits, home-cooked meals, and practicing moderation is the real key to a healthy body. Ayurveda also teaches us to eat according to our body type and the weather, something modern diets often ignore.
Rather than chasing new diet fads, it’s time we trust our heritage. Our roots hold the wisdom of health and balance. Let's stop punishing our bodies with extreme diets and instead nourish them with the simple, wholesome food our ancestors lived by.
