Guggul is extracted and collected from the plant bark known as Commiphora weightii. It has been used in Ayurvedic
medicine for centuries for cardiac problems but has recently been introduced for joint health because of its anti-
inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Its multiple active chemical compounds include gugulipid and
guggulsterone, two powerful antioxidants that fights inflammation and stimulate the immune system’s white blood
cells. It is helpful in alleviating joint pain, stiffness, swelling and other symptoms associated with arthritis.
