Ginger
Ginger is a plant with a long history of use in Ayurvedic medicine. The roots of the plant are ground and mixed with honey or molasses to create a spicy, tangy, and flavorful syrup. The ginger syrup is often served in tea, mixed with lemonade, or even mixed with sparkling water for a spiced ginger soda. Ginger syrup is also popular as a cocktail mixer for mixed drinks. Ginger syrup can be found in most grocery stores in the U.S.
