How to use
Water should be drained from the field just before adding the lime. Fill the field with water only after 24 hours. Continuous water intake will help to neutralize and flush out the acids. The crops, which require more calcium, should be given lime only after calculated amount of calcium required.
More nitrogen is getting to plants. The addition of lime increases the activity of nitrogen-absorbing microorganisms. Potassium in the soil helps in the growth of the plant as it regulates the absorption of potassium. Plants get calcium and magnesium. Lime eliminates the harmful effects of overdose.
Lime should be added at the beginning of the lunar year or mid-spring. It is more beneficial if there is a light rain after adding the lime. Only then will it work with the soil. Care should be taken to avoid erosion due to rain water. If the soil is moist, there is no harm in adding lime at any time. To get good results the lime material should be mixed well in soil.
