Necessary Ingredients
1) 2 cups mustard oil (150 grams).
2) 2 medium sized chopped onions.
3) 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
4) 1 cup whipped curd.
5) Chopped coriander, chilli and ginger
for garnishing.
1) Take 500 grams mutton and add 150 grams whipped curd, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, half teaspoon salt and paste of 1 medium sized tomato and keep it aside.
2) Now take 2 cups of oil in a pressure cooker and fry 2 medium sized chopped onion and 3 to 4 green chillies until they turn soft. Now slow down the flame and add mutton (marinated) in it, Do not fry just mix it well and, cover the cooker and cook the mutton for 15 minutes on medium flame. Now open the cooker and add Awadh Nihari Masala and fry for a while so that the oil separates from the masala.
3) Now add water half to one glass in it as per your requirement and cook on low flame for 15 minutes till the mutton is tendered. Your delicious Mutton Nihari is ready to serve.
