Ajwain

Ajwain is a small, brown seed that is often used in Indian cooking. It has a taste similar to thyme, but more potent. It is used in a variety of dishes, but is most commonly used in curry. Ajwain is usually sold in seed form, but it can also be found in a powdered form.
