Some people also use it to lift the favours of certain dishes. A green cardamon plant has its stem underground with leafy roots and large white or pale green leaves. Its seeds are small and black and the fruit is pale green in colour. The seeds can be removed and grounded into powder form. Cooking and Usage:

Green cardamon can be used in the powdered form directly for some recipes but it is advised to start with pods as it gives more flavour. The pods can be used for flavouring or as an additive in tea or coffee as preferred. The seeds can be grinded in a mortar or a spice grinder. Some times the whole pod is also grinded depending on its usage.
