Also known as Satin Wood Tree. Evergreen bushy shrub, Kamini flowers have an aromatic orange-like fragrance. Fragrant white flowers bloom year around. The dark green leaves make a dramatic backdrop for the highly fragrant cream-colored flowers. The flowers are followed by small oval red fruits with one or two seeds. the fruits are favored by birds. The plant is grown as a living fence to protect vegetable gardens, Murray's prefer a sunny position in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. To maintain a murraya hedge prune lightly two to three times a year in spring and summer. Give a final prune in autumn after flowering.
