Shelcal XT Tablet 15's belongs to the group of medicines called nutritional supplements used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies such as calcium deficiency, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and post-menopausal osteoporosis. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for body development and the prevention of diseases.
 
Shelcal XT Tablet 15's is a combination of five supplements, namely: Calcium, L methylfolate calcium, Mecobalamin, Pyridoxal 5 phosphate, and vitamin D3. Calcium makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Vitamin D3 helps in the absorption of calcium from the stomach. Mecobalamin helps in the proper functioning of the brain, nerves, and production of red blood cells. Pyridoxal 5 phosphate helps in regulating essential metabolic functions. L methylfolate calcium helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Together, Shelcal XT Tablet 15's helps in treating nutritional deficiencies.
 
Take Shelcal XT Tablet 15's as prescribed. You are advised to take Shelcal XT Tablet 15's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as stomach upset, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Directions for Use

Take Shelcal XT Tablet 15's with or without food. Swallow Shelcal XT Tablet 15's as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break the tablet. Based on your medical condition, your doctor will decide how long you need to take Shelcal XT Tablet 15's.
