When India grow more than 30 different types of millets and grains, and when there is a such a varieties of nutritious tasty food available in the country why do human stick to only two of them, it is either "Rice or wheat " that is also 3 time a day. गेहूं और चावल are the least food in that list.. it brings nothing but a lots of starch and flood of glucose that leave us nothing but a lazy mess and over a time we develop diseases and chronic illness.
The problem is what we been misguided into thinking that many bad things are good for us and we imbibe them into our daily living.
there should be so much diversity into our food habits, into our thali.
We are blessed to be born on this land which has so much diversity into Food also... ,
ज़ब हम कुछ सौ सालो पहले गेहूं और चावल नहीं खाते थे तब ये millets खाया करते थे अभी लुप्त हो गए हरित क्रांति ज़ब हुई तो सरकार ने सिर्फ गेहूं और चावल को बढ़ावा दिया सब्सिडी दी और इनको उगाने पर जोर दिया.. पता नहीं क्यू... और बाकी सारे धान अपने आप कम या लुप्त होते गए, पर कुछ food scientists और शानदार किसानो की मदद से इनकी
वापस खेती शुरू हुई है !!
as per many food scientists अगर millets को सही से खाये तो ये कोई भी disease revers क़र सकती है.
