But it didn’t feel enough.

Because music, at least for us, was never just about playing a song. It was about where you heard it, who you were with, and what you were feeling at that moment. It was about those random late nights, those auto rides, those phases you don’t really explain to anyone. And a plain NFC tag didn’t capture any of that.

We wanted to create something you wouldn’t just use - something you’d feel like carrying.

That’s where Tapeify came from. Taking something as nostalgic as a cassette — something that already means so much to so many of us - and blending it with the way we listen to music today. Your playlist, but in a form that feels personal. Physical. Yours.

So yeah, it still works with a simple scan.
