Wayanad Jeerakasala Rice is a popular traditional aromatic rice cultivar of Wayanad District. This scented, non-basmati rice is famous for its characteristic fragrance and aroma. Grains are of medium size and shape (slightly elongated), with golden yellow colour and partial short awns.
