The squeezing helps stop blood loss. - The Tourniquet Belt is used to fasten the upper arm while collecting the blood sample - It is a vital tool when collecting blood samples or controlling bleeding - The band helps to control venous and arterial circulation on an arm or leg - This skin friendly belt is designed for fast vein compression - A tourniquet must be put on sufficiently tight to stop the bleeding. If it is not tight enough it can actually end up increasing blood loss.
