TYTY Saffron

TYTY SAFFRON is 100% Pure, ONLY STIGMA part (3 crimson stigmata) of saffron, coming directly from the LOCAL GROWERS of PAMPORE region in world famous Kashmir, India. It is NOT mixed with other parts of the saffron flower (like yellow stamens) or anything else. Shown in the below picture as of Length 'B'.Saffron is a small, bulbous, perennial herb, a member of the lily family. To produce saffron, the stigmas [the part of the flower which catches pollen] must be painstakingly handpicked, cut from the white style and then carefully laid on a sieve and cured over heat to deepen the flavor- highly labor intensive process.

Original Saffron consists of only minute crimson stigmas (female part) of a blue-violet flower called CROCUS SATIVUS. Only three stigmas per flower. To make one gram of this pure saffron you need 1500 flowers. For 10 gms = 15000 flowers and for 1 Kg = 15,00,000 flowers approx.Saffron essentially is the three stigmas of the saffron crocus. They are delicate and thread-like, each measuring 2.5 – 4 cm (1 -1.5 in). Its colour is a bright orange-red, and in high quality saffron this is uniform. Saffron threads bearing white streaks or light patches are inferior and when light specks appear in the powdered form it suggests adulteration.

Cultivation and use of saffron spans more than 3,500 years. It has been traded and used across continents and even utilized as a treatment for over 90 disorders. Cleopatra, as per certain texts, used saffron in her baths for its cosmetic properties. Each flower grows low, just six inches off the ground, has three crimson stigmas growing from one pistil, and three golden stamens. it is just the stigmas that constitutes the actual Saffron.

More than 100 Compound are present in Complex Structure of Saffron

5-8 strands of Saffron a Day can make a Big Difference.

Saffron can do more than just add colour and flavour to your dishes....

The sedative and anti-inflammatory nature of saffron helps to calm the stomach and reduce inflammation, which eases things like constipation, bloating, cramping, and serious conditions like gastric ulcers.
  2. Prevents Cancer - With more than 100 different compounds acting within saffron’s complex form, antioxidants make a grand appearance. There are dozens of antioxidant compounds found in saffron, many of which seek out and neutralize free radicals, the dangerous byproducts of cellular metabolism that can cause healthy cells to mutate or die. This prevents cancer from developing or spreading in the body.
  3. Analgesic Qualities - Pain relief is always a valuable asset for a herb or natural remedy, and the volatile compound safranal in saffron acts as a sedative for many patients. This sedative action can help to relieve pain, reduce anxiety and stress, improve sleep patterns, and generally soothe the mind and body, which is always a good thing!
  4. Improves Nerve Function - The vitamin B family is one that is often overlooked in human health, but it plays a major role in nerve function throughout the body. More specifically, the high content of vitamin B6 found in saffron spice can help our nervous system in running smoothly and prevent some of the deadly and dangerous disorders that arise from poor nervous system function.
  5. Improves Bone Strength - Some of the minerals and organic compounds in saffron have been linked to optimized nutrient uptake, particularly of calcium. By maximizing the amount of calcium that our body can absorb from food, we have a better chance of improving bone mineral density and preventing the onset of conditions like osteoporosis and other degenerative age-related diseases.
  6. Relieves Anxiety - Saffron has been known to relieve mild depression and improve mood in those who regularly consume it. The many active compounds in saffron have some effect on the endocrine system and can stimulate the release of beneficial hormones that keep us happy and healthy. For women, this same effect has also been known to act as an aphrodisiac. It has been hailed as a natural antidepressant by numerous research studies and organizations.
  7. Controls Diabetes - The significant levels of manganese can help the body optimize its blood sugar levels. Diabetes is one of the most dangerous and widespread conditions in our world today, affecting millions of people globally. By regulating your blood sugar, insulin, and glucose levels, you can effectively prevent the onset of type II diabetes or manage the symptoms if you already suffer from this affliction.
  8. Protects Heart Health - Saffron is the richest source of riboflavin, an important vitamin for the heart. The crocetin in the spice indirectly regulates blood cholesterol levels and reduces the severity of atherosclerosis. Potassium acts as a vasodilator, effectively lowering the stress and pressure on blood vessels and arteries, allowing blood pressure to decrease and relieving strain on the cardiovascular system. This can prevent things like atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes from occurring.
  9. Increases Circulation - Saffron can function as an effective energy booster and can increase your metabolism by increasing your blood circulation. The high concentration of iron means that saffron increases your RBC, which thereby stimulates circulation and oxygenation of organ systems and the body’s extremities. This improves efficiency and functionality of our tissues and organ systems for healthier metabolic activity and prevents the symptoms of anemia.
  10. Boosts Immunity - Although people often think of spices as nothing but food flavoring add-ons, they still contain high concentrations of certain important nutrients, including vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is important for human health, as it stimulates the immune system’s production of white blood cells, the body’s first line of defense against illness, and also is crucial to the production of collagen, which is necessary for cellular production in the body and contributes to wound healing, muscle growth, blood vessel repair, and tissue production.
  11. Treats Inflammation - As a topical tool used in massage, saffron oil and creams derived from the flower’s compounds can eliminate aches and pains throughout the body, while also relieving pain and discomfort. For people suffering from sports injuries, arthritis, gout, and other inflammatory conditions, this is a wonderful remedy.
  12. Liver Health - One study shows how saffron could be beneficial to patients with liver metastases. Saffron was also found to offer protection against structural liver damages. It also aids in the treatment of liver toxicity.
