Mama Street was born in Delhi, India with a dream to create nothing but beauty for ladies who are confident in their unique style.
Mama Street was founded by Manisha Taneja in October 2022 which retails online and at various exhibitions across the country. She has been a fashionista since a young age and expresses herself through creative and innovative textures and cuts.
Our ethos is to create versatile and timeless ensembles that promote slow fashion for the women of today.

Our garments are made in small factories around Delhi. The workers within these factories are supported in fair trade practices. Most of our garments involve a lot of handmade process, which helps generate employment opportunities for the local artisans and women.
We release one product at a time when it is complete This ensures that the artisans are not overworked and pushed to complete a huge quantity of labour at once, with unrealistic working hours. It also ensures they are kept in regular flowing work and not thrown in and out of big projects. We follow a sustainable approach for all aspects of our business and are conscious of keeping our carbon footprint as small as possible by incorporating traditional and sustainable practices.
