Our raw materials are all farm grown and ethically sourced, ensuring our rural communities are supported with ample opportunities to better their lives by means of supplying our requirements and / or working with us.

We ensure our raw material sourcing benefits the communities where it is grown.

The Harin team, selected from within the local region have in depth understanding of the local farming culture and offer farmers and smallholders the opportunity to supply our requirements within our ethical sourcing guidelines:-

1. Respect for our suppliers
2. Wages & working conditions of farm labour
3. Welfare of the workers
4. Child or forced labour is not used
5. Fair price paid for the crop directly to the farmer or smallholder
6. Environmental sustainability / sustainable farming
7. Safety and well being of factory staff
8. Educate and build competency at all levels

Proximity of our factory to the village ensures that follow up to our interaction with the community can be regular and effective.

Appropriate training on equipment and process is given to all our staff members, enabling them to independently manage their roles.
