About Kishu
Hi! We are glad that you want to know about Kishu.
Kishu is our adopted baby! An Indian Stray Dog who was adopted on 7th April 2017 from the streets of Meerut, a small city in Uttar Pradesh, India. When I saw him for the very first time he was rolling over the ground and playing with his siblings. That was the moment of “Love at first sight” for me. Since then, Kishu has been an important part of our lives. He is family!
Kishu was living his life to the fullest but one day when he was 2, he suddenly got a seizure while sleeping. Initially, the frequency of his seizures was much low but with passing time his condition is deteriorating. For the last few months, he has been suffering from cluster seizures. He got 20-30 seizures in a day. As of now, he is on strong medications due to which he is not active much. The reason behind the condition is unknown. Our baby is fighting hard for his life! Today, i.e “April 7, 2022” we are celebrating his 5th Birthday, Cheers!
Kishu - Paws To Tails is a way to provide a gift of a better life to all the streeties out there!
In India, there are more than 35 million stray dogs and India's data highlighted several challenges like housing limitations, financial limitations, practical barriers, and lack of behavioral awareness about stray pets, leading to people buying breed dogs instead of adopting them.
We at Kishu are committed to providing all Stray Dogs with a good life. And, you can help us to do better.
