This website is operated by THE PAPER STORY. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Paper Story and its affiliates. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to "you", THE USER conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

Please read the following Terms and Conditions very carefully as your use of The Paper Story website www.thepaperstory.co.in and services offered by The Paper Story are subject to your acceptance of and compliance with the same. By browsing, accessing, subscribing to or using any of our services you agree that you have read, understood and are bound by the terms, regardless of how you subscribe to or use the services.

The Paper Story reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these TERMS OF SERVICE, at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Service periodically for changes. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. As long as you comply with these terms, The Paper Story grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to access and use the website and services offered by The Paper Story.

The headings used in this Agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

SECTION 1 - SERVICEABILITY:

The following products or services offered by The Paper Story are limited to the geographical limits mentioned below:

Cake Deliveries - Chennai City
Packaging & Toppers - Pan India
Prop Rentals - Chennai & Bangalore

SECTION 2- PACKAGING, SUPPLIES, FRESH FLOWERS & PROP RENTALS:

All packaging, cake toppers & prop rentals are subject to availability. If we are unable to supply the same (under any circumstance) chosen by you, we reserve the right to cancel and offer refund or substitute of equivalent or higher value, quality and color upon mutual confirmation.

Due to the nature of our business, our prop rental items are frequently rented and cleaned. While we strive to give you the best quality product every time, please note that there may be signs of “ordinary wear and tear” and that we cannot guarantee new or like-new quality.

You shall be responsible for obtaining all permits, licenses, authorisations, and approvals from appropriate parties, companies, and/or government for the lawful and safe use and occupation of the location(s) to which the Goods will be delivered and from which the Goods will be retrieved (prop rentals).

SECTION 3 - DAMAGE:

PROP RENTALS:
You acknowledge that in the event a rented prop sustains any damage or destruction or is lost or stolen while under rent, you shall pay The Paper Story, the cost of repair or full replacement of the item plus processing and delivery fees involved that will be determined by The Paper Story.

SECTION 4 - CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS:

PACKAGING & CAKE TOPPERS:
Orders can be amended or cancelled up to 24 hours before the dispatch for 100% refund, If cancelled after packing and dispatch freight & packing charges will be deducted.

If we are unable to provide your chosen item or a suitable substitution we will inform you as soon as possible (or) refund your payment in full within 7 - 10 working days. Items that are customised or in sale and fresh flowers cannot be returned or exchange under any circumstances.

PROP RENTALS:
Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours from date and time or placing order for 100% refund. Due to low inventory on our prop rental SKUs, the products shall be reserved exclusively on a first-come-first-serve basis.

In the case of a cancellation done within 48 hours from placing order, while the date of pick-up or delivery of the said order is less than (and / or) 3 days from the date of order, refund of only 50% will be processed.

There shall be NO refunds for no-show while pickup or unavailability of recipient in the case of delivery.

NO PROP EXCHANGES or CANCELATIONS WILL BE MADE ON THE DAY OF PICKUP / DELIVERY.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING:

Standard Delivery Charges of ₹150 is applicable for delivery of packaging / supply products and fresh flowers within the specified Chennai & Bangalore city limits. Prop Rental delivery charges are charged on actuals.

If you request a delivery to areas outside our limits, we shall provide estimate of additional charges and ETA as soon as possible upon receipt of your order. For all self-pick up or third-party deliveries, please check for stock availability before ordering.

Incorrect personal and delivery details may result in significant delays and we request you to include full address details including landmark(s), an available and functioning contact number + alternate number and double check details before placing order. This will help us in getting your order to the intended location on time and also help us notify you in the unfortunate event of a delay or delivery challenge.

In the case of recipient or authorised representative not available at the delivery location, we will attempt to delivery to the immediate neighbor or venue authority. If that is not possible, we will attempt re-delivery at a time, at our own discretion. We shall not be liable for damage during delivery re-attempt. We strictly do not re-attempt delivery of fresh flowers and if the recipient is a no-show, the order and delivery shall be considered complete.

SECTION 6 - USER ACCOUNT AND REGISTRATION TERMS:

Registering is a free service and you will receive a username and password upon completing the website's registration process or completing a transaction. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to immediately notify The Paper Story of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security and ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. The Paper Story cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this requirement.

You agree that if you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or The Paper Story has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or not in accordance with the Terms of Service, The Paper Story has the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate or block access of your membership with The Paper Story and refuse to provide you with access to the website.

If you are a non-registered user you agree that upon reviewing the order at the website a user account will be auto created for you and the access to the same will be communicated to your email address provided.

SECTION 7 - ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS:

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to (but not restricted to) product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the service is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

All Prices declared on the website are inclusive of taxes and total order value shall include standard delivery charges. Please verify the total payable amount during checkout before placing the order. Our prices are subject to change anytime without any prior notice.

You shall be responsible for full payment of the order placed by you. All charges payable shall be displayed on the website, no hidden charges would be applicable for the same. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.

SECTION 8 - PAYMENTS:

You are allowed to choose between various payment options while placing an order on the website. All payments and deposits should be made prior to dispatch of stocks for delivery. If you choose to pay online through methods allowed by our website, we assure you that we do not save any information related to your credit / debit cards, UPI or passwords.

All the information you provide is processed through a secure server of our technology partner Dukaan. You agree to use your own debit / credit card, UPI or bank details for the transaction. We would not be responsible for misuse of your card if all the security checks are verified. You agree that the methods of payment may be updated from time to time on the Website. You agree to review the same and use our website and suitable payment option accordingly.

If the option of pickup from store is chosen, the stock shall be released only after payment is received in full. We shall inform of any additional charge payable towards toll or parking fee, extra kilometers or damages / missing rental items at the time of delivery or return.

Prices of Fresh Flowers shall be hiked depending on the availability on festivals, special occasions like (but not limited to) muhurtham days, valentine's day, mother's day etc. as supply would be affected by higher-than-usual demand during these times.

SECTION 9 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & LICENSE:

We, our logo and content displayed on our website is exclusive intellectual property of ours. You shall not (i.) reproduce any portion of the website for any use, whether commercial or personal, (ii.) not use any meta-tags or any other "hidden text" utilising our name or trademarks and (iii.) not frame or utilise framing technologies to enclose any trademark, logo, or proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of us and our affiliates without our express written consent.

You agree that your usage of the website is a limited license to place an order using the Website. This license is to access the website for personal use. You are not authorised to modify or download any portion of the website without written consent of us. You DO NOT have a commercial license to use this website. No part of this website shall be used by you for any commercial purpose without written consent from us.

Any unauthorised use terminates the permission or license granted by us to you forthwith and would further attract legal action against the violator.

SECTION 10 - SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY:

Please review our other policies. We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these Terms of Service at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining conditions.

These Terms of Service and any separate Agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of India & the state of Tamil Nadu and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai.

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website.

We may update our Terms of Service whenever need be for legal, operational or regulatory reasons or to reflect changes to our practices. You can check for any changes or the new Terms of Service on our site. We advise you to review the terms periodically for keeping up with changes, if any.

SECTION 13 - COMPLAINTS:

If you wish to make a complaint or let us know of any concern after receiving a package or order, please do so in writing to thepaperstoryindia@gmail.com within 1 hour of receiving and attach relevant photograph(s) or video of the fault, damage or discrepancy. We shall try to fix this issue amicably at the earliest and any refund shall be issued entirely at our discretion.
