Carob comes from the pods of a tree native to the Mediterranean. The sweet pulp is then dry roasted and ground to a powder similar to cocoa powder. While Cocoa is bitter, Carob is naturally sweet and has a nutty flavour to it.
Also unlike Cocoa, Carob does not contain caffeine and theobromine naturally fat free. Which makes this perfect for dogs. Carob is high in fibre and free of anti-oxidants.
And it is super yummy & heathy as well.
