Brewery Partners

THE ‘ENGLISH CRAFT BREW COMPANY’ (ECB), INCORPORATED IN THE UK AND INDIA, HAS SET UP AND MANAGES FOUR OTHER WELL - KNOWN MICROBREWERIES IN BANGALORE.
THEY ARE ALSO CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN SETTING UP MICRO BREWERIES IN NAGPUR AND OTHER CITIES.
 

AS TECHNICAL & BREWING PARTNERS:

• ECB will provide, install & set up the entire brewery on a turn-key basis for the project.
• ECB will manage all the day-to-day process of brewing & production of all beers for our microbrewery.

• Derek Orford started brewing at home at age 16 and qualified as a Master Brewer in 1991, winning the James Hough award for outstanding
  performance.
• Since his early days of making traditional cask-conditioned ales in the middle of the Kentish hop gardens in South-East England, his brewing
  career has taken him around the world, to breweries in the Americas, Europe, and Australasia.
• He has worked for world-renowned brewing companies: Whitbread, Heineken, and Lion. In more recent years he joined the craft beer revolution, brewing his own versions of famous beer styles on a small scale, and selling them at farmers’ markets and country fairs in England. He has supported a number of start-up breweries, from design of the brewing plant and recipe development, through to commissioning and trouble-shooting.
• He is both a technical and a hands-on brewer, as well as a qualified beer sommelier.
• He has now brought his passion for beer and brewing to India.
