The book was conceived at Edla Ramdas Mutt at Rajamundry. Dharma Teertha writes the vices and cruelties he had experienced and witnessed in the name of Hindu religion and its wretched caste system. He meticulously analyses how various types of vices and evils crept into Hinduism and how it had turned out as a weapon for the exploitation of people by Brahmanism. \nBorn C. Parameswara Menon, Dharma Teertha (1893-1976) trained and practised as an advocate and was an ardent follower of Narayan Guru. Later in life, he converted to Christianity. \nKalekuri Prasad was an eminent poet, writer and Dalit activist.
