These are sharp stainless steel blades designed to make precise Primary incisions in the required direction and planes in Phaco-emulsification and vitreo-retinal surgery. The tip is diamond-shaped and has a double bevel. It helps in a precise and controlled incision during phaco and VR procedures. The shaft has a length of 200 mm with a Guiding nob at 32 mm from the tip. The tip may not have an angulation of 45 degrees with the shaft, to facilitate easy dissection. It helps the user have an accurate idea about the direction of the blade, the plane of the cutting edge, and the plane of the bevel, even in situations when the user is not actually looking at the blade, when in use. It’s a single-use blade that is ETO sterilized. It comes in a pouch packing with a plastic case for safety.
